This week (May 16 – 20 2011) is National Small Business Week coordinated by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SBA will conduct a three day event in Washington D.C. May 18 – 20, where they will announce several small business awards including Small Business Person of the Year.

The theme of this years Small Business Week is “Empowering Entrepreneurs” and we are excited that the Obama Administration and the SBA are focused on the Small Business sector and helping entrepreneurs grow and succeed. We are equally excited about the White House launching the Start-Up America Partnership earlier this year. This partnership is a movement by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs and provides mentoring and many other resources.
Small Business Week is great and we are happy to see focus and attention to this vital area of our economic growth. Small Business Roundtable listens to our audience and some of their greatest current needs are:
- Technology platforms to more easily connect with mentors and advisors.
- More efficient processes of finding small business loans.
- Affordable Small Business Healthcare plans.
Small Business Roundtable will feature radio shows this week discussing better ways to “Empower Entrepreneurs” and share key success advice. Please check our main page for upcoming episodes.
